Bonus Terms Explained in Plain English
Online casino bonuses can be confusing, especially with all the jargon. Before you claim any offer at jlq — or anywhere else — here are the key terms you need to understand. We believe informed players are better players.
Wagering Requirement / Rollover
The number of times you must bet the bonus amount before any winnings derived from it can be withdrawn. A "X15 rollover" means if you receive a ₱1,000 bonus, you must place a total of ₱15,000 in bets using that bonus before cashing out. Higher rollover requirements mean the bonus is harder to clear.
Example: ₱1,000 bonus × X15 rollover = ₱15,000 total bets required before withdrawal is allowed.
Maximum Bet During Bonus
When you have an active bonus, the casino sets a maximum bet per round — usually ₱250 to ₱500. Exceeding this cap can void your bonus and any winnings from it. This rule protects against bonus abuse but is important to know before you spin.
Example: If the max bet cap is ₱300 and you spin at ₱500 per round while using bonus funds, the bonus may be cancelled.
Game Contribution Rate
Not all games contribute equally toward clearing a rollover requirement. Slots typically contribute 100% — meaning every ₱100 you bet on slots counts as ₱100 toward the rollover target. Table games like Baccarat or Blackjack often contribute only 10–20%, so clearing bonuses on them takes much longer.
Example: Betting ₱1,000 on Baccarat at 10% contribution only counts ₱100 toward your rollover target.
Bonus Expiry
Every bonus has an expiry window — typically 7, 14, or 30 days from the date it is credited. If you do not complete the rollover requirement within this window, the bonus and any associated winnings are forfeited. Check the specific expiry on each offer you claim.
Example: A 7-day expiry means you must complete all wagering within one week of claiming the bonus.
Sticky vs. Non-Sticky Bonus
A sticky (or non-cashable) bonus remains in your account as a wagering tool but cannot itself be withdrawn — only the winnings generated from using it can be cashed out. A non-sticky bonus is deducted from your balance upon withdrawal, but you keep everything you won above it. Non-sticky bonuses are generally more player-friendly.
Example: Sticky bonus of ₱1,000 — if you win ₱3,000 total, you can withdraw ₱2,000 (winnings only); the ₱1,000 bonus disappears.
Maximum Cash-out
Some bonuses cap how much you can withdraw from winnings earned using that bonus. Even if you turn a ₱500 free spin bonus into ₱50,000 in winnings, a max cash-out limit of ₱5,000 means you only receive ₱5,000. Always check the maximum win limit before claiming free spin offers.
Example: Free spin bonus with max cash-out ₱3,000 — any winnings beyond ₱3,000 are not paid out.
